Sony's Pocket TV

Sony’s XDV-G200 and XDV-D500, your new Pocket TV

While many manufacturers are working hard to build devices with endless functions, it has always intrigued us “the Geeks”, to see a company like Sony to create a simple and easy product with just 2 main functions like Radio and Mobile TV like the Sony XDV-G200 and SDV-G500.

In a nutshell, our XDV-G200, which look like a simple DAP (Mp3 player) just feature a 1Seg TV tuner and a FM/AM Radio tuner. Has a 2.0” QVGA screened. The G200 can be used up to 8h for watching TV and 18h when listening to FM Radio (58x92x14mm for just 87g).
As far as the XDV-D500 is concerned, the “BRAVIA” Pocket TV, As Sony likes to name it, we also find a 1Seg TV Tuner as well as a FM/AM radio Tuner, but as well as 2GB internal memory which will be mainly used to record 1Seg TV programs. The Screen of our XDV-D500 is a 3” TFT screen with a WQVGA resolution. Our little pocket TV can use up to 8h for watching TV and 27h for FM radio (9+8x59.3x14.3mm, 107g).
