Onkyo HDC-1.0 Dektop PC

Onkyo downgraded their HDC-1.0 Dektop PC designed for Audiophile

Onkyo Japan announced a "downgrade" of their HDC-1.0 Audio PC that we introduced 2 years ago

Our Music Nettop now comes with an Intel Atom 230 CPU (1.6GHz), an Intel 945GC Express Chipset, 1GB of memory, 160GB of HDD, a DVD SuperMulti Drive, 6 USB 2.0 ports, and Windows XP Home.
The objective of this new Dekstop PC was to reduce the price from 200,000yens to 59,800Yens. That means, you won't have built-in Amplifier, or other nice features that were available on the previous version.

Lastly, you’ll be able to choose between three setting:

- The HDC-1L (Desktop PC only)
- The HDC-1LGX (with two speakers): Maximum Output power of 2x15W
- The HDC-1LGX/19W1 (Two speakers and 19’’ LCD screen with a resolution of 1,440x900 included.)
