Sunday Stories: GT Academy

GT Academy

After working with Nissan on the GT-R, Polyphony Digital, the very talented and respected studio in charge of the award winnng "Gran Turismo" video game series, is back for another parternship with Nissan and that is the GT Academy.

Things are simple, what you need is a PS3, a connection to the Playstation Network (PSN) and a copy of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. With all this, you can enter and compete in the GT Academy and, one hotlap at a time, rank up to become the only winner, and what winner...The lucky (and talented) guy (come on girls!) who will come out number one will be offered a 4 months training to earn his racing license, then he will compete with the Nissan Team at the Dubai 24h early next year behind the wheel of a Nissan 350Z!

The GT Academy is the way to go from dream to reality.

SATA HDD to PS3

Hook-up Any Kind of SATA HDD to Your PS3

Since the PS3 is now fully compatible with DviX and WMV files, I tend to use it more and more as a media center. Hooked to my NAS, I can easily stream video back to my beloved PS3… But for those you have yet to invest in a NAS but own 3.5” SATA HDD, here's the CRGM-BK2 from Century, a SATA cable made to use 3.5” HDD with your PS3.

I have to admit that this is far from the best solution ever, you'll still need to hook-up your HDD to a power source, but I'm sure some of you guys will appreciate it.
